Photo Printing and Framing in Abuja

We print and frame photographs for customers in Abuja. Everything happens online — there is no walk-in shop and no showroom to visit. Abuja is one of the major cities on our delivery map, so orders to the city are 2–4 working days. An address well outside it falls into the 5–8 working day band that applies to the rest of the country. We do not quote a delivery date or a time slot, and we do not offer same-day delivery — those are promises about roads and couriers rather than about printing, and we would rather not make them. Delivery is free on orders over ₦40,000; below that the charge appears at checkout before you pay.

Two things about Abuja shape what people order, and both come back to the same fact: a great many households here are temporary. People are posted in, transferred out, or on a contract with an end date, living in estate flats and serviced apartments that belong to somebody else. Framing a photograph in a flat you will hand back in eighteen months has always been a slightly awkward proposition, because the conventional method involves a hammer drill and a permanent hole in somebody else's wall.

Our wall frames do not use nails. Each one arrives with adhesive on the back — peel it, press it to the wall, and there is no drilling, no rawl plugs and nothing to explain when the flat is inspected. Frames can be lifted off and repositioned while you decide on the arrangement, and when the posting ends they peel away and travel with you. That is a different relationship with a rented wall: the pictures are yours, and the wall goes back the way you found it.

One local caution that comes up more here than elsewhere, because so much Abuja stock is newly built or freshly repainted between tenants: give new paint about two weeks before you stick anything to it. Paint that is still curing has not finished hardening, and an adhesive applied to it is holding onto a film rather than onto a wall. Wipe the spot clean and dry first as well — during harmattan there is dust on walls that look spotless.

The second Abuja factor is the rooms themselves. Newer estate housing tends to run to bigger sitting rooms and taller walls than an older city flat, and a single small frame on a wall like that reads as an afterthought. Larger sizes earn their keep here. A 16×16 at ₦38,000 is the frame people see from the doorway. A 12×16 portrait at ₦30,000 suits a standing figure, a full outfit or a convocation photograph. Four 12×12s in a grid comes to ₦88,000 and carries a wide wall that a single frame cannot. High walls also make the hanging height matter: aim for the centre of the arrangement at about eye level, roughly 145 to 150 cm from the floor, rather than centred on the wall, which puts everything too high.

Desk frames are the other thing this city buys. Abuja is an office town, and a photograph on a desk in a ministry, an agency, an embassy or a corporate office is the one piece of home that comes to work with you. Desk frames have an easel back, need no wall at all and start at ₦7,500 for a 4×6, with 5×7 at ₦9,500, 6×6 at ₦9,000 and 8×10 at ₦14,500. They also fit the reality of a serviced apartment where you would rather touch nothing.

Because so many Abuja households have family elsewhere, it is worth saying plainly: the delivery address does not have to be yours. A framed photograph can go straight to a parent's house in another state, and the family album in that house is exactly the sort of thing our photo restoration was built for — a paid add-on at ₦2,500 per photograph that repairs old or damaged prints and sharpens small or blurry ones, with a before-and-after you approve before it is used.

Every print is made on museum-grade matte paper, which does not throw glare back at you and does not hold fingerprints — worth having through the bright, dusty harmattan months when the light in an Abuja sitting room is at its hardest.
