All twelve finishes

Bamboo · a 12×12" wall frame

Bamboo Picture Frames

A light tan that runs slightly green where oak runs honey. It is the lightest of the warm woods after maple, and the one that belongs to a particular kind of room rather than to a particular kind of photograph.

Wall frames from ₦12,000 · desk frames from ₦7,500

The price is the size, not the finish — Bamboo costs the same as every other one.

What it suits

Plants, gardens, market produce and tropical light — and any room that already has cane, rattan or raffia in it, where this finish joins the family instead of competing with it.

What it sits beside

Natural Oak and Maple, which sit either side of it in weight. Driftwood when you want the same lightness with the warmth removed.

Worth knowing

It is close to Natural Oak at a glance, and if you are torn between the two the distinction is this: oak is the safer neutral, bamboo is the one that commits to a room. Order a small size first if the room is the deciding factor.
